The Apple Tree Tearooms are near Warwick collegiate church, which is as large and interesting as many a cathedral. The tearooms offer a range of cakes and teas, though all teas are made with tea bags. Belgian chocolate cake was moist and delicious. The green tea was slightly yellow in colour, suggesting it’s not their best seller. The proprietor appears to appreciate those that have at least a basic knowledge of the serving of tea. There is seating for those taking tea in rooms inside and also outside, both at the front and in a garden at the rear. The garden includes the eponymous apple tree.
